Post Graduate Institute of Child Health, Noida celebrated 78th Independence Day ,15.8.24.In continuation with the 3-day programme from 13.8.24-15.8.24 the institute organized documentary session on Kakori Kaand, plantation drive(ek paed Ma Bhart ke naam),performances by patients and staff children and Quiz competition on 13th and 14th August,2024 and following this celebration was a grand celebration of Independence day organized under the guidance of Director Dr A.K Singh, PGICH, Noida. The event started with unfurling of the National Flag in the morning by the director followed by cultural programme wherein staff and children of doctors and staff ,patients admitted to the hospital all participated with great enthusiasm. The event comprised of music performances, dance, fashion show on the theme of Indian independence ,speeches and documentary film on Indian Independence. The event apart from blessings of the director Dr AK Singh was graced by Dean Dr D.K Singh, CMS ,Dr Mukul Jain, MS Dr Akash Raj and many senior and junior faculty members, nursing, paramedical staff and children. The event concluded with prize distribution and distribution of sweet boxes.
