Introduction

Department of paediatric cardiology is providing cardiac services since 2017. Here you can visit for treatment of different cardiac aliments like cynotic and acynotic congenital heart disease in children. We have advance philips echo machine to diagnose different cardiac defect. Emergency cardiac services for childfren is available 24*7 and anyone with cardiac emergency can visit for proper diagnosis and treatment. We also provide ECG and holter monitoring for different cardiac arrhythmia. Soon we will start advance cardiac cath lab services for device closure of congenital heart defect and cardiac cath lab haemodynamic study.

    ANS. Child need immediate doctor consultation it could be due to hole in heart
  2. My child has recurrent cough and cold, what could be reason?
    ANS. This could be due to hole in heart, child need 2d echocardiography.
  3. My child becomes blue during crying, what to do?
    ANS. Child may be having cynotic congenital heart disease and they may need immediate surgery.
  4. My child is having palpitation, what could be reason?
    ANS. This could be due to either hole in heart or arrhythmia, child need ECG and 2d echo. They may also need holter monitoring

Future Plans

  • Cardiac cath lab will be operational soon in coming future and cardiac intervention like device closure of ASD, VSD and PDA will start.
  • Cardiac haemodynamic study and intervention for valvular heart disease like BAV, BPV and BMV will start once cath lab will become operational.
